Chaliotata is built amphitheatrically above the plain with olives of the region. It has an altitude of 180 meters and only 85 residents.
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful view to Ithaca, but the reason that makes this village unique, is that in it, there is one of the most famous caves in Greece; Drogarati Cave with stalactites and stalagmites created over the years and the great hall of the cave with excellent acoustics that has been used in the past for music concerts.
