Lourdata

Lourdata or Lourdas village, is in the area of Livathos, 17 km southeast of Argostoli and has  about 170 residents.

It is a seaside village built in the deep green with many tourists and for this reason, the visitor can find large Hotels, boutique Hotels, very nice villas and affordable rooms for his stay.  The village offers visitors exceptional views of the sea and to the Ainos mountain which located directly above the village and which is the source for the running waters that exist in the region.

The climate in Lourdata is excellent and in the area someone finds cypresses, pines, olive trees, banana trees and palms.

The beach Lourdas stands out for its beauty as it is located down the mountain and next to dense vegetation. The right track is sandy and the left has pebbles. It is ideal for family vacation but it is also ideal for young people who want to enjoy water sports and beach volley tournaments. Some summer evenings, the nearby Bars organize parties in the area that gather many people who enjoy until the early morning hours…

The village has supermarkets, coffee houses, great places to eat, bakery, post office, pharmacy and doctors, as well as bus service. The coastal road was reconstructed recently and has restaurants, tavernas, bars, coffee houses, and  parking spaces, where visitors can find what they need after a swim in the blue sea.
