Skala is located at the southern tip of the island and is about 35 km from Argostoli. To the west and north, Livathos, which is a manorial area with a great cultural tradition, borders the Municipality of Argostoli, while the permanent population is about 4,500 inhabitants, many of whom are English nationals.

Agia Efimia is also one of the most beautiful villages of Kefalonia, located in the northern part of the island, just 9 km from Sami and 34 km from Argostoli.

Sami is a small town and one of the largest ports on the island that connects Kefalonia with Patras, Ithaca, Astakos and cities in Italy. It is built in the eastern part of the island, at a distance of 22 km from Argostoli.

Lixouri is located on the Paliki peninsula, built on the coast opposite Argostoli, at a distance of 34 km; communication with the capital city Argostoli, is by ferry boat or by car. It is the second most populous city of Kefalonia with 3,750 permanent residents.
